Fee Schedule

​*Effective 01 January 2025, $235/session is the recommended fee for service used in the Psychological Association of Alberta's advocacy with third-party payers. Registered psychologists in Alberta set their own rates.

*Fees per session: the fee per 50-minute session is agreed upon by the end of the first session and is subject to change with sufficient notice.

​

Registered Psychologist: $220 (standard fee) or sliding scale amount as agreed upon.

​                                           $330 for 90-minute session.

                                           Direct billing available for most insurance companies.

​

Intern Therapist: $50 per 50-minute session

​

Growth and Learning session: $120

​

Guardian check in is complimentary up to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes are billed at the client's session rate.

​

Phone calls longer than 30 minutes are billed at the client's session rate.

​

Fees to complete letters, file release/review, reports, are billed at the client's session rate (in .5hr, increments, as needed).

​

Fees for Legal Issues/Work: If I engage in work on your behalf that I determine is associated with the legal system (e.g. court prep. work, letter for a lawyer) my rate, regardless of your session rate, is $800/hr.

 

Expert Witness Testimony (half-day minimum fee) $1500 plus expenses relating to having to testify (e.g. parking, meals etc.), Expert Witness Testimony (full day minimum fee) $3000 plus expenses relating to having to testify (e.g. parking, meals etc.).

Fee for Consultation is $180/hour or as agreed upon prior to beginning of contract.
